Privacy Policy

Version 1.5 Β· Effective Sept. 8, 2026

1. Who we are

Yee is an on-demand media platform operated by Yee Solutions. It connects customers who order photos and videos at a place with nearby creators who capture them. This policy covers the YeePro (customer) and YeeGo (creator) mobile apps, the Yee web app, and this website. For any privacy question, write to info@goyee.app.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data. You sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We never receive or store your Google password.
  • Identity check result. Before a creator's first delivery, Stripe checks their identity. Stripe holds the documents. We keep only the answer β€” checked or not checked β€” and the date.
  • Location data. Customers choose a place for an order. Creators share their device position while using the app, so nearby orders can be shown, and the capture position is recorded when a photo or video is taken, to confirm it was captured at the ordered place.
  • Media and its metadata. Photos and videos captured by creators, together with technical metadata (for example capture time, camera information and a fingerprint of the file) used to check authenticity.
  • Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store order amounts and payment status. We never see or store full card numbers. When you save a card, Stripe keeps the card itself and sends us only the card brand, the last four digits and the expiry month and year, so the app can show you which card is in use.
  • Device and technical data. A push notification token for your device, the IP address your requests come from, and basic technical data (app version, device model, operating system) written to our server logs and to error reports.
  • Agreement records. Which version of our terms and of this policy you accepted, and when.
  • Download records. Each time you download a file you bought, we record which file, when, the IP address the request came from, and the browser or device line it carried. We keep these records so we can prove the file was delivered if a payment is later disputed at a bank.
  • Ratings and comments. The rating and the short comment you give the other side after an order, and the ones they give you.
  • Messages and support conversations. Messages you send about an order, and anything you send through in-app support or a feedback form.

3. How we use the data

  • To run the service: show orders on the map, match customers with nearby creators, deliver media, and process payments.
  • To keep the platform safe: check that media is authentic and was captured at the ordered place, and check every upload automatically against our content rules.
  • To send notifications about your orders and your account.
  • To answer support requests and fix errors in the apps.
  • To prove that you agreed to our terms and to this policy.
  • To meet legal duties, such as accounting and tax rules, and to answer lawful requests from the authorities.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only with service providers that help us run Yee, and only what each one needs:

  • Stripe β€” payments, creator payouts and the creator identity check.
  • Google (Firebase) β€” sign-in and push notifications.
  • Cloud hosting providers β€” servers and file storage for the platform.
  • Content checking services β€” automated checks of uploaded media.
  • Support and error reporting tools β€” in-app support chat and crash reports.

Inside the platform, customers and creators see each other's public profile: name, picture, average rating, number of ratings, and the comments other users left. A creator opens a customer's profile from that customer's order; a customer opens a creator's profile from a set delivered to them. This works the same way in both directions. A creator also sees a customer's buying badge: how many of that customer's finished orders ended with a purchase, or a mark that says the customer is new while there is not enough history yet. None of it is public on the internet.

5. How long we keep data

Data Kept for
Account data (name, email, picture) Until you delete your account, then up to 30 days in our backups
Identity check Held by Stripe. We keep only the result and the date.
Media files, playback copies, poster images and previews The period shown in the app, counted from the purchase, from the order closing, or from the item leaving the market. Then every file is deleted.
Media record: fingerprint, authenticity record, order history Kept. It contains no picture.
Order and payment records 10 years after the order closes, as accounting law requires
Server logs, IP address, device data 90 days
Download records (which file, when, IP address, device line) Kept with the payment records, because a payment can be disputed at a bank long after it was made
Ratings and comments Until you delete your account. A comment you wrote about another user stays with their profile without your name.
Agreement records (which version you accepted, and when) As long as your account exists, and afterwards for as long as we may need to prove the agreement
Evidence of suspected illegal content As long as the law requires, even after the account is closed

When a media file is deleted, everything that shows the place goes with it: the original, the playback copy, the poster image and the painted preview. What stays is the record of the order and the authenticity data, which hold no picture.

6. Evidence and the authorities

Where we have reason to believe that content or conduct breaks the law, we may keep a copy of the content, of the account data and of the technical records connected with it for as long as the law requires, even after the account is closed. We give this material to the police or to another authority when the law requires it or in answer to a lawful request. Where the law requires a report to be made, we make it without telling the account holder first.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to limit how we use it, or to give you a copy of it. To use any of these rights, or to delete your account, write to info@goyee.app. If you are in the European Union, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Some data cannot be deleted on request: accounting records we must keep by law, and evidence we must keep for a legal reason.

8. Children

You must be at least 16 years old to use YeePro, and at least 18 to work as a creator on YeeGo. Yee is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we publish a new version on this page, with a new version number and date, and the app asks you to accept it. If you do not answer within 7 days, you are treated as having accepted the new version.
